BIO:

Education/Interests: Peter is pursuing a BFA in Acting from the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theatre BFA Actor Training Program, and will begin pursuing a minor in Creative Writing through the University this fall. Should Peter attend graduate school, he would attend for something under the umbrella of "theatre writing" whether that be screenwriting, playwriting, or some other medium like writing for television. Peter graduated Denver School of the Arts as a theatre major in May of 2015. Peter's passion in the performing arts is chiefly acting, writing, and directing. Ultimately, Peter would like to regularly produce his own work, whether that be by starting a company or a studio, and taking original plays to festivals or films to festivals. Peter has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to direct any play of his choosing his senior year at Denver School of the Arts, and the opportunity with the Denver Black Actor's Guild to write, cast, direct, produce, and stage his own original work using their venue, and even make profit from the audience attendance. Peter does not consider himself to be one brand or label of an artist, as he also pursues movement and dance with projects with the Denver Center for Performing Arts where he choreographed his own pieces and duets to fit into one of Denver's first immersive/experimental theatre shows, and continued similar work (minus the trapeze) with the Denver Center for Performing Arts/Third Rail Project's production of Sweet and Lucky

Projects: Peter just finished his first year of BFA training with the University of Minnesota / Guthrie Theatre BFA Actor Training Program. While home for the summer, Peter reconnected with Wands and Wishes and contiued doing parties and events for them, reconnected with the Denver Center for Performing Arts and continued his summer job of being a teaching assistant with their summer theate camp program, and also had the wonderful opportunity of joining the cast of the Denver Center for Performing Art's production in collaboration with/commissioning Third Rail Projects NY of Sweet and Lucky for its extended run in Denver. In his free time between these jobs, Peter catches up on reading plays and theatre technique books, while also preparing for his second year with the Guthrie Conservatory program and the projects/season shows there. Other credits throughout high school include Perception at the Denver Center for Performing Arts "OFF Center" where Peter was an aerialist/trapeze artist, and at Denver School of the Arts include Macbeth (Macbeth), Noises Off! (Lloyd Dallas), Three Sisters (Solyony), and Eurydice (Nasty Interesting Man) with the Denver Center for Performing Arts Education Department directed by Allison Watrous. Peter has also done various improv shows and written, directed, and produced his own original work with the Denver Black Actor's Guild.

Personal: Peter is proud of his family heritage that originates in England, and as a result is extremely excited to be spending a semester in London with the Guthrie BFA program studying and working on shows at The Globe Theatre. Peter intends to either move back to Colorado and continue working on theatre and art there, or moving to New York, Chicago, or Los Angeles should work call him there with substantial enough gravity that he could "base" himself out of any of those cities.
