As Much As I Ever Could
4 M, 2 F (2 extra male, 1 extra female)
There is a notion in society that you cannot control your emotions. What would a world look like where one could control their emotions, or even where emotions were the primary form of currency? In such a world we follow Artie, as he discovers his own emotions, their capacities, and what lengths people go to give and take from one another's emotions.
PRODUCTION INFO:
Everything's Alright was first workshopped as a staged reading at the Atlas Theatre in association with The Black Actor's Guild of Denver. The night featured Everything's Alright along with another original work "Cazzo: A Ridiculous Italian Comedy" by Noah Anderson. This is the script as it was read on June 18th, 2015. Any edits by the playwright are shown in red. Everything's Alright underwent a title change in the summer of 2016 to As Much As I Ever Could.
As Much As I Ever Could is currently a series of vignettes; very much a work in progress and incomplete. Peter originally wrote, and has kept, the play in a loose format of a screenplay, but has no specific intention with the piece, meaning he would like to either produce it as a stage play, a screen play, or perhaps even diverge from normal conventions and conceive an immersive/experimental/experiential piece out of the script. Peter intends to keep revisiting the script and add scenes, characters, and possibly even more storylines.
